Model Sentence #1

In the polyglot mass of humanity were members of varied social strata: rich and poor; highly educated and illiterate; religious men and agnostics; the kindhearted and the selfish; courageous men and the dull-witted (Wiensenthal 5).

    1. Ryan, you need to look again at the structure of the model sentence. You didn't use a colon to introduce a list of ideas, semicolons to separate ideas in that list, or antithesis in each idea to provide contrast.
